Ok guys I’ve been investigating the tumblr #kiss and #kissing tags and I have a few things to report.
1. You only get to kiss if you fit into the societal norms attractiveness-wise.
2. There really do seem to be a lot of people fetishizing gay and lesbian couples. I am conflicted about this. On one hand, I mean, it’s good to see non-cis couples. On the other hand, I doubt that these couples are all tiny-waisted or huge muscle-bound guys. On the third hand, the straight couple are also idealized on that? On the fourth hand, why are all of the female Hawkes and Wardens all dainty flowers. :( Come on, I want some badass love.
3. I don’t want to reblog and embarrass the poster, but someone chided her chumblrs for not telling her that kissing IRL is totes different from writing in fanfic about kissing, and also teeth are good. @arch4ngel?
4. Not to beleaguer point #2, but to be honest, I’m really not attracted to the smooth-skinned muscly guys in these photos. I’ve only been involved with men who had body hair and maybe a little extra in the tummy. Get to work on giving us .gifs with chest hair, tumblr pervs.
